This year's MTV European Music Awards take place in the historic musical city of Liverpool.
Which means it's almost a hometown gig for Duffy, and as luck would have it our favourite Welsh songbird features in several categories including Best New Act, Best Act, Most Addictive Track for 'Mercy' and Best Album of the Year for 'Rockferry'.
Official nominations will be chosen by public vote, with the top five artists in each category making the final cut as official 2008 EMA nominees.
